A rewarding and fast-flowering hardy species from Taiwan, A. onoei surely is a common but curious eye-catcher in cultivation.

Easy to establish in any cool and shady place it is capable of proliferating massively via stolons.

Depending on how humid its surroundings are this species will either develop coriaceous leaves connected with a procumbent habit or start twining with more fleshy, thicker shoots.
